Our lab is looking for a new postdoctoral research fellow to help us in performing molecular biology screens to identify genetic elements that will enhance the efficacy and safety profile of our gene therapy programs . Candidates must have a PhD in molecular biology or similar. Experience with molecular/cell biology techniques as well as sequencing would be great. Enthusiasm essential! The post is a fixed term 12 month position.

Cobb lab escape

Research Technician post available in our lab

Our lab is looking for a new technician to help us with our molecular work. This will provide core support for our projects developing genetic therapy for brain disorders. Experience with molecular biology, cloning, qPCR and/or sequencing would be great. Enthusiasm essential! The post is funded for 12 months in the first instance.

Modern Apprenticeship / research technician role available in our group

We have a modern apprenticeship position in our group, working as a research technician on a gene therapy project to treat children with Rett syndrome.

You’ll be working in a growing team, providing support in both the laboratory and the research animal facility where you will mainly work with mice. The post will be based in central Edinburgh as well as our sister animal facility at the Roslin Institute.
